By Paulo from Plainview, NY Posted Sep 26, 2015 he wouldnt have to do on the phone when we takled. It was going to be performed under a local anesthetic and once I laid down on the bed area, he put about 20-25 shots in my chest with a huge need. I was in pain towards the end of that alone. Then after about 30 min, he starts with the liposuction and that was VERY painful. I could feel the pain when the canula got to the edges of my chest, under my armpit a lot. After all that was done, he started with the actual gynecomastia surgery(removing the breast tissue). This wasnt as bad and I didnt feel it too much until he started using this electric current thing that would burn the tissue around the nipple (inside) to stop the bleeding I guess, i could really see. I felt one of those and it was really bad bc he held it there for like 2 sec which felt like a LONG time when you have a white hot current burning you. My chest is flat now like it should, but now i feel liquid underneath my chest on the right side when i press down. Also, my right nipple seems to not be healing as well and the side is sticking out a little bit. Through out the whole deal, the doctor seemed so non chalant about the whole thing and did all the injections so fast. During the lipo, I was literally gritting my teeth and holding back yelling out lout as well as gripping the crap out of these stress relieving type balls that are made out of foam that they gave me. I have more info in detail if you need it, but I didnt want to write a book on here. He didnt charge extra for the lipo, but it was so painful, I really felt like crying afterwards and during. It wasnt neccesary either. We (my family) spent a lot of money on the surgery as well as the trip/hotel/food going up there. Im not sure what to do if there is anything, I just feel that the surgery was very painful ( I could have at least been put under totally as the anesthetic), I wasnt really informed well enough from the doctor and he wasnt very comforting. Now Im home and there is liquid squishing around in my chest and we dont have the extra money to just go and spend on another doctor or flying back out there. What do you think I should do, maybe there is a possible legal action?
