But when it comes to the selection of the best among the bulk of movers the preference should be given to the one with whom your friends have better experiences. Thanks a lot for sharing those tips. http://meypbpbko.com udepbgk [link=http://pleemxalfho.com]pleemxalfho[/link] By Mcgomcgez from Brooklyn, NY Posted Jun 11, 2015 What do you mean, there was no contract ?? Of coruse there was a contract, not that it matters. They agreed to move your stuff and you probably agreed to pay them. That IS a contract oral, but enforceable. However, in addition to contract law, there is the basic law of property ownership and criminal laws. They have apparently stolen your property. That is a crime. You report crimes to the police, they investigate and might even get your stuff back. You then sue for damages and breach of contract, not to mention filing complaints with Craigslist and your local Attorney General's office of consumer protection. They also owe you an extraordinary duty of care in maintaining your property while it is in their possession (for hire), to make sure it is returned safely to your possession in its original condition. You can actually sue them to obtain possession of each and every article they have not returned to you, or you can sue for the fair market value of the articles that they have lost or damaged (assuming you have any proof that you gave them anything). If they intentionally lose your stuff to avoid being caught with the goods, that would be a list of additional crimes (tampering with evidence, etc).
